Mission statement: 

1. To advance the interest and promote the welfare of the Norfolk State University through a variety of educational and charitable activities.
2.  To award an annual scholarship(s) to a needy student(s) from the city of Portsmouth to attend or continue to attend Norfolk State University.

NSUAA Portsmouth's  Mission

 

NSUAA Portsmouth has always prided itself on its mission to help the betterment of our alma mater, Norfolk State University (NSU).  NSU boasts an enrollment of 7000 students and is dedicated to providing an affordable, yet quality education to students who otherwise may not be able to attend college. Our alumni association not only helps NSU to meet its mission to help needy students by providing an annual scholarship, but NSUAA-Portsmouth also believes in promoting NSU through positive interaction with the surrounding Hampton Roads communities.
